Increase National Average Oil Extraction Rate (OER)

Main Focus of EPP4:

  • To increase the Palm Oil Extraction Rate  (OER) to 23% by 2020

Implementation Strategy:

Contribution by the Engineering and Processing Division (OER boost: 0.2%)

 

  • Increase mill efficiency by improving process conditions using an  audit quality monitoring programme for mills with  OER below 19%.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of mill’s  oil recovery system in minimizing oil loss.

  • Review the quality of the  recovered oil.

  • Measurement of oil loss at the mill.

  • Presentation & Training Programme.
